Subject:'Dear Parishoner' Flyer
I have lived in Fleet for about 40 years. Yesterday your Dear Parishoner flyer was dropped through our door in Pondtail. I must applaud the initiative and warm feeling shown by this missive. Neither of us are C of E members but we welcomed your letter. Peter & Janie

Subject:Visiting old territory
I used to live and worship in Fleet. I was Churchwaren at St Philip & James in the early 70's. I now live in the Bradford Diocese and Worship in a Dales parish. Happy memories of Fleet. I am pleased to see that the parish is so vibrant. Excellent web page

I visited your site to see the parish where Andreas and Jenny and their family are to end up in a month's time! Your gain is our loss! They are a special family.

Subject:Remembering Fleet
I lived in Birch Avenue, Fleet between 1953 and 1956 and I have happy memories of St. Nicks where I was a pupil. Naturally during the course of the year I attended services at All Saints with my school and my family and, under the tutelage of the then Vicar of All Saints, I attended confirmation classes and was confirmed by the Bishop of Guildford in 1954. Around that time, the school sadly lost one of its pupils, Julia Mount, and I wondered if you could tell me if she is buried in the churchyard. I am currently working on a book about Fleet and this information would help me greatly. I loved living in Fleet and send salutations to anyone who may still remember me. God bless, Angie
